Mads Mathiasen

Mads Mathiasen, 33, had a rough start to biking at age 6. With no trainer wheels and after his first half an hour of falling off the thing, he had enough of the thing and got his parents to put it away in the basement. After a few days he gave it another try and has since found the challenge of not falling off the BMX can be taken to extremes. His traveling started in South Africa at the age of 18 and the next year, Mads by some sort of coincidence, found himself in the Himalayas. Since then he has spend most of his time mountain biking in Nepal, India and Tibet, recently completing his second 1100km Lhasa to Kathmandu epic. However he has also found time to travel to more than 25 other countries over the last 8 years and hopes to take you biking all over the world with him. Mads loves the single trails and wild riding and he will guide many of the off road single trail trips.
