The Kathmandu Valley is home to 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites! The Valley is home to the bustling city of Kathmandu however you can still find traditional villages where some people dont even speak Nepali, let alone English, such is the diversity in this little valley. You will explore the Kathmandu Valley on a tour of the bazaars and temples, both on foot and by mountainbike. Your mode of transport will allow you to get closer to the feel of Kathmandu itself and also to access a village by trails that vans or tourist buses cant travel.
Leaving Kathmandu, you will revel in the stunning scenery of the Annapurna Region in Central Nepal, near the lovely lakeside town of Pokhara. Your trek in this area takes you on small trails through terraced fields and traditional villages to the warm hospitality of our classic lodges, complete with stunning mountain views and great food. You have the chance to connect with local people and learn about their day to day lives as we are welcomed into villages along the way. You have to experience Nepali friendliness to believe it.
Back in Pokhara we have beautiful views of the Range, in particular of the holy and unclimbed Fishtail Mountain, from the base of which the Seti River originates and down which we will raft to the southern plains of Nepal. Reaching the Terai, or southern plains we can experience the contrasts between bustling bazaars and timeless villages, their buffaloes and their farming land as we cycle towards the Chitwan National Park.
Chitwan National Park, known for its steamy jungles and unique wildlife, is best at this time of year as its not too hot to really enjoy the experiences of exploring. We explore the little visited areas of Chitwan by bicycles the way the locals travel. This gives us a great opportunity to get close to the culture of the area and get to know more about the lives of people here. We also have canoe and elephant safari truly your chance to get close to nature in this unique riverside park.
Come and let us show you Nepal as we know and love it!
